RolePlayGateway?

Hello, all! I come to you with a proposition. This was a role play that was posted on Gaia Online and it was a fantastic Final Fantasy RP. However, of course, it died. I had permission from the original author (TheGreatestSage) to post it again and yet, no one joined. I was thinking of posting it here too, with her permission, of course. Here's the premise:

For the passed two decades, Final Fantasy gained popularity among all of the people of Earth. The charming worlds, memorable characters, and their stories have made them believe in fairy tales once more. Some have probably wished these worlds would become real. A foolish wish, considering there is no such thing as magic, or any of the things the game offers.

At least to the people of Earth. To the Reliks however, it is a great opportunity.

These angelic beings were once revered by humankind as unsurpassed gods in an unknown, and discreet ancient era, deep in the depths of legends buried away with time. Few can even recall their true names, but tell their stories through tall wives tales stretching its truth and purity. Furious by the sins the people of the planet have committed, the angels met in secret, discussing the punishment that should be committed for the crime of forgetting the very fathers and mothers who bore them when the planet was young and robust.

Their powers have aged with their fleeting stories, losing much of the energy they had once before. To attack now would only make them a mockery. Unless they got their gifts back from the very energies of the fantasy world their children have created. With the bit of energy they mustered from a millennia of slumber, they create a portal, jarring the barrier between real and fantasy apart from the reflecting Icarian Seas. (It?s quite befitting, since the fabled Icarus fell here-just as the fallen Relikian Angels have to get into this brand new world.)

With the subtle disturbance caused by the Reliks, the people of Spira, Ivalice, Gaia, and all of the other worlds notices changes in their environments. Mako rivenes are slowly running dry, the newfound energy source in the Farplane is mysteriously vanishing as well. Monsters have begun to multiply at an alarming rate, and some passersby could swear they see the mountains discolor, as if they were to fade. But most importantly, all of these realms separated by barriers of strong magic have dissipated, uniting all of the worlds into one united planet called Parsima.

It has caused these segregated people and cultures to converge and get to know one another, and build relations. Still, they all seem to know the bad omen growing. Those with keen enough senses like magic-users, Summoners, or the Vierans to feel the change in the wind. It is slow, but if left to fester, it will grow into something more grave than their worst nightmares. Among the heroes already chosen to defend their own lands from chaos, they seek out a legend that they believe will unfold. The Returners, Summoners and their Guardians, Lone Skypirates, various travelers, and even modern bands of legends like AVLANCHE, and the WRO are all seeking the reason why the darknesses they have faced are reborn, and a solution to solve it.

Here's the rundown for those who didn't understand:

- To Earth, Final Fantasy is, of course, a bunch of awesome video games
- The Final Fantasy worlds are real though, and have been merged into one world by the Reliks (beings that were ancient gods of our world)
- Villains have been revived by and serve the Reliks
- Seven chosen ones from Earth are summoned to the new world of Parisma
- The chosen ones of prophecy and the heroes from the Final Fantasy games must unite and saaaaaave the wooooorld!!

Does this sound like something you would join?
