The rapidly growing APAC team based in in Shanghai is looking for an experienced?Technical Sales Manager (TSM)?who will be responsible for the management of international Wind?Power?projects.

The main responsibility of Technical Sales Manager is managing world-class professional sales projects, with special focus on order-entry time, target EBIT, Customer Satisfaction (CS), Market Share (MS) or Share of Wallet (SoW) and Hit?rate.
More specifically, your assignments will?cover:
- Develop and execute Priority Account Plans, alternatively Marketing?Plans.
- Maintain and develop contacts and relationship with customer on all levels, and identify important?stakeholders.
- Actively pursue business opportunities and sales leads in a systematic and prioritized way. Initiation/drafting of tenders, assurance of proper technical and contractual handling, coordination of proposal development?process.
- Lead negotiations through to?close-up.
- Manage and coordinate efforts of the sales team, as well as of associated partners in the regional?entities.
- Make analysis of pre-sales activities by won and lost orders, and draw conclusions for Account?Plans.
- Collect / analyze market and competitive data and draw appropriate conclusions for Account Plans or ad hoc sales?project.
- Assess potential risks in coordination with resource?delivery.
- Have responsibility for project business administration with focus on WTG supply, e.g. leading the Wind Turbine group (WTG) ?sales?team.
- Technical Sales Manager together with the super-ordinate sales management is granted the authority to make the initial Go / No Go decision for a?project.
- Obtain bid invest decision; define bid strategy for the WTG?supply.
- Be the main contact to customers and lead the negotiation process mainly in regards to the WTG?supply.
- The same applies to turnkey projects unless other is agreed with Turnkey Project Manager for Sales & Proposals for a given?project.
- Extra responsibilities for turnkey?projects:
- Project planning and reporting, in cooperation with Turnkey Project Manager for Sales &?Proposals.
- Turnkey Project Manager for Sales & Proposals, Technical Sales Manager and Commercial Sales Manager as well as Contract Manager are jointly responsible for the customer contract management for a?project.
Candidate?Requirements:-
- Extensive experience in project sales or development, preferably in the energy or power?sector.
- Previous responsibility of complex projects in multicultural teams and professional?customers.
- Project management?(desirable).
- Working experience in multilingual and multicultural teams, preferably operating across?borders.
- Development of Account- and Marketing?Plans
- Wind market development and?trends
- Analysis of project?economics
- Technical understanding of wind?projects
